Haircuts and Lolly Pops

I had some reservations about Rhett getting his first haircut...it seemed like such a milestone and I had a hard time grasping that he's already 7 months. I love his hair. It's so soft and downy...like a little gosling. I love to rub my face on on the top of his head. I love how it stands up after nap time. I love it's sandy color. But it was growing so much faster on the top and sides than it was on the back and it was getting a little out of control.   

So we went to our friend Laura who also cuts Jake's hair.

She had these organic suckers for Rhett to help him sit still.

He LOVED them.

After an awesome comb over

the snipping began

Now we can do a faux-hawk...so much better than a side part.
